MD2 Project Progression

source here . For this week, we've decided to scratch our idea of creating an animation using Adobe Animate. Although we have used Youtube tutorials to help guide and educate us on how to use Animate to the best of our abilities, it seems we can't quite get the hang of it. However, we've decided to expand our concept on Stephaine's frame-by-frame technique. With this in mind, myself and Valerie set out to buy coloured and textured paper to draw our miniature characters and create background. We researched previous work which had a similar theme, or vibe, that we are aiming for. We came across a 2D animation created by Brandon Ray which really appealed to us ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvfF1YNDrTw ).  As we are already pushed for a bit of time, we concluded 2D stop motion animation was our best option within our skill range and started to develop on this idea.  Creating and Design  I bought two different booklets of coloured paper - one

Graphic design of a document  source : shutterstock.com There has been a lot of trial and error in the creation of our ADD (Animation Design Document), as our ideas keep on developing and changing in the process of brainstorming and drafting . Individual & Group Work Researching: As a group we've agreed to start watching Youtube tutorials on chosen programmes such as Adobe Premier pro & Adobe Character Animate , not only to help us in future when we come to our productive stage but also to gather ideas as to easy routes to create characters and scenes to get the most quality in the shortest amount of time.  For starting off, we decided on a four part series introduction to Adobe Animate . Although we have a sense of understanding on this programme from last year, as a group we decided that since the tutorial's are not that long ( 13 to 25 minutes max ) it would be worth our while to go through all four and really get a good understand

The Boy who cried Wolf (Our Idea) src :  https://www.amazon.com/Cried-Wolf-Flip-Up-Fairy-Tales/dp/1846433681 For this week we had to create a GDD (Game Design Document). However, since myself, Valerie and Stephanie have teamed together to create an animation, rather than a game design document, we had to create something that was the equivalent to this, such as research, our idea, inspirations etc. Here is what we've created and agreed on: Our version of GDD (powerpoint presentation) So here we discuss a little bit about our research such as inspiration whereby we've decided on the story of 'The Boy who cried Wolf'. We talk a little bit about the story and what kind of a genre it fits into. We've also considered our target audience and how this will affect our style and script.  After creating this document / powerpoint, we've realised it's crucial to get started sooner rather than later. First thing we're planning on doing will
